StorePulse legal
This policy explains how Fashionata Pty Ltd handles personal information when organisations and their authorised users use StorePulse.
Effective 25 August 2026 · Last updated 25 August 2026
StorePulse is a visual merchandising field operations service operated by Fashionata Pty Ltd (we, us, or our). This policy applies to the StorePulse web application, related emails, support, and administration activities.
An organisation that invites you to StorePulse may also have its own privacy obligations and policies for the information it asks you to record. You should contact that organisation about its own handling of your information.
Depending on how StorePulse is used, we may collect and hold:
We collect information:
You may contact us without identifying yourself where practical. StorePulse cannot create an authenticated user account or attribute operational records without identity information, and a visit cannot currently begin without the required check-in location.
We use personal information where reasonably necessary to:
We do not currently sell personal information or use StorePulse operational records for third-party advertising.
We may disclose or make information available to:
We require users and organisations to upload only information they are authorised to provide. In particular, users should avoid capturing unrelated people or confidential material in workplace images where it is not necessary for the visit record.
StorePulse uses managed technology providers that operate internationally. Personal information may therefore be stored in or accessed from countries outside Australia. Likely overseas locations include the United States; provider support, security, and resilience operations may involve other countries in which those providers operate. The location can vary with the service and environment used.
Where Australian privacy law applies to an overseas disclosure, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to protect the information and address applicable cross-border disclosure requirements.
StorePulse uses cookies and similar browser storage needed to authenticate users, keep sessions secure, remember the active organisation, and operate the service. Disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other core features from working. StorePulse does not currently use operational records for targeted advertising.
If you choose Google sign-in, Google and our authentication provider, Clerk, make basic identity information available for authentication. This may include your name, email address, profile image if available, and a Google account identifier. We use that information to authenticate you, link your sign-in to the correct StorePulse user and invitation, maintain account security, and display your identity in authorised workplace records.
StorePulse does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or other sensitive or restricted Google data. Basic Google identity data is handled by Clerk and recorded in StorePulse through the provider and disclosure arrangements described in this policy. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide StorePulse to the relevant organisation, preserve operational and audit records, resolve disputes, maintain security and backups, and meet legal obligations. Different record types may be retained for different periods. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal information when it is no longer required.
We use access controls, authenticated sessions, organisation and role scoping, encrypted network connections, managed hosting, and operational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can update some profile details through the authentication service. To request access to or correction of personal information, ask about retention or deletion, withdraw a consent where applicable, or make a privacy complaint, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and consult the organisation responsible for the relevant StorePulse account. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, employment, contractual, or audit-record obligations.
We will consider privacy complaints and respond within a reasonable period. If Australian privacy law applies and you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact theOffice of the Australian Information Commissioner.
We may update this policy when StorePulse, our providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published here with its effective and last-updated dates. If a change materially affects how we handle information, we will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice where appropriate.
